All goods are double checked, carefully packaged and shipped in “new” condition. The carrier has responsibility for the goods until the time they are delivered to you. Title of merchandise passes to customer upon delivery from carrier. All claims for loss or damage to be made immediately and directly to carrier.
Warranty / Claims
- Every LIFT product is covered by a one-year (from date of purchase) warranty on manufacturing defects.
- Warranties cover original manufacturing defects in material and/or workmanship, not normal wear and tear.
- All products returned under the LIFT warranty program will be repaired or replaced. LIFT will determine whether a product can be repaired or must be replaced.
- Products replaced will be replaced with the same size and model as those originally purchased.
Return procedure:
Before returning any LIFT product the customer must obtain a Warranty Authorization Number and warranty return form by calling (310) 637-6162. Pack your product in a cardboard box and use a shipping service that offers both insurance and tracking to ensure a safe delivery of your products. LIFT will not be responsible for packages lost in transit.
Please include the following information in your return package:
- LIFT Return Authorization Number and Form
- Your name, return address and telephone number
- A brief description of the problem and service you are requesting
- A copy of sales receipt (proof of purchase)
Note. Please write your assigned Return Authorization Number on the outside of the package. This will help reduce any delays in processing your return.
All warranty returns must be sent (postage prepaid) to: LIFT Safety, 2146 East Gladwick Street, Rancho Dominguez, CA 90220.
LIFT will pay freight costs for return of warranty repaired or replacement products to customer at regular ground rates within the first year of warranty only if proof of purchase is provided.
Customer is responsible for any express shipping charges above regular ground.
When a product is in a backorder status, warranty replacements will be given priority when new product is received.
Dealers should advise their customers to direct all warranty questions or problems directly to LIFT Safety. The decision for all warranty issues must come from LIFT Safety directly to customer.

Returns / Exchanges
- Any LIFT product may be returned within 30 days of date of purchase for a refund if purchased directly from LIFT, accompanied by a copy of the original invoice, and in as new condition. There is no refund for shipping and handling charges.
- A restocking fee will be charged for products returned for refund. ($20 for returns $50 and above, $10 for returns under $50).
- Products returned for credit toward a future purchase will not be charged a restocking fee. There will be no credit given for shipping and handling charges. Freight will be charged on any subsequent purchase using the credit balance.
- If product was purchased elsewhere it should be returned to that dealer. Unless this is a warranty or manufacturing problem, LIFT will not do refunds to retail customers for items purchased elsewhere.
- Any LIFT product may be exchanged within 90 days of date from purchase if received by LIFT in as new condition. If purchased directly from LIFT and accompanied by a copy of the original invoice, no freight will be charged on the first exchange. A shipping and handling fee will be charged on subsequent exchanges or if the product was purchased from a third party.
